England bring in Ashton while Australia change four

Stuart Lancaster has made just one change to his team from last week, bringing in Chris Ashton for Ugo Monye.

Ashton will play on the right wing, which means a switch to the left for Charlie Sharples after his two try’s against Fiji.

Elsewhere the squad is unchanged with Joe Launchbury and Tom Wood remaining on the bench despite reports that they were pushing for a starting spot.

Ashton’s return is a welcome bonus for England and fans will be hoping that he can repeat the heroics of his 70 yard dash for the line when Australia last came to visit Twickenham.

Australia, in contrast, have made four changes following their 33-6 drubbing by France with Mike Harris and Sekope Kepu dropping to the bench for the incoming Berrick Barnes and Ben Alexander.

Digby Ioane and Sitaleki Timani come in for the injured Pat McCabe and Kane Douglas.

It had been hoped that flanker David Pocock might return for this fixture but he has not yet recovered from his injury so Michael Hooper keeps his place to face his parents country.
