A word from the coach:

XV: Mark, what are your thoughts ahead of the game on Saturday?

Mark Lee: “It should be a good occasion, our boys are really looking forward. They have done incredibly well to be here and to get back to back wins against King’s Macclesfield, King’s Worcester, Oakham and Adams Grammar is a record any side would be proud of.”

“The mood in the camp is good – we are pretty much at full strength and also have one or two players returning from long-term injury”

“The school as a whole is excited about Saturday but we are focusing on the team and their preparation – we have come through some tight battles through the rounds and have respect for all the other teams in the last 4.”

“Nobody gets to the last 4 of the Daily Mail by luck alone”

“The one plus for us this year is that the vast majority of our boys have stayed on in the sixth form for the first time for years – we were in the semi final at under 15 4 years ago but 5 of that team left after year 11 including 3 later becoming Internationals.”

Northampton School for Boy’s versus Warwick will be the second of the two semi finals to be played at Broadstreet RFC on Saturday. They will kick off at 1pm after Dulwich v Hampton at 11am.
