Daily Mail Trophy Table – Top 10 – Table shaken up after brilliant weekend of rugby

After a stunning weekend of school rugby the Daily Mail Trophy table has been completely shaken up.

Just one team in the top 10 of the table remain in the same position that they were in last weekend, Reigate Grammar School, who stay in seventh after yet another very good win.

Sedbergh are back on top of the table after beating Durham of Saturday. Durham had briefly taken Sedbergh’s top spot last weekend but Saturday’s win sees Sedbergh back on top with Durham slipping down to ninth, which bumps Stockport Grammar, who bagged another good win, up to eighth.

Bromsgrove jump from outside of the Top 10 to second in the table after their sensational victory over Millfield on Saturday. They sit on 5.50 points, though Sedbergh are sitting comfortably above on 6.00.

Bedford’s excellent win over Dulwich bumps them up to third, where they replace Cranleigh who drop out of the Top 10 altogether after their defeat to Tonbridge.

That also allows Hampton and Reed’s to move up to 4th and 5th from 5th and 6th respectively as they both picked up solid wins once again. Sherborne come back into the Top 10 after their stunning win over Wellington College on Saturday. That results puts Sherborne into sixth and sees Wellington out of the Top 10 once again.

Reigate hold station in seventh, and Stockport Grammar bump up to eighth thanks to Durham sliding to ninth, while Haileybury come into the Top 10 once again in tenth. However with just one Daily Mail Trophy game played, their form in the competition is yet to be truly measured.

It has certainly been a weekend to shake up the table, once again proving just how competitive this year’s school rugby is.
