Daily Mail Trophy Table – Top 10

The first full round of games since the half term break have certainly shaken up the Daily Mail Trophy table, with several positional changes in the Top 10.

The big constant though is that Sedbergh retain their position at the top of the table and remain a fair way ahead of the rest of the chasing pack.

That chasing pack is now led by Wellington College, whose victory over St Joseph’s Festival winners, Hampton, has seen them leap from eighth to second, despite having two defeats to their name.

Wellington’s rise sees Bromsgrove slip from second to fourth, while Bedford remain in third thanks to that great win over Warwick, but they are each just 0.03 of a point behind Wellington College.

Durham are also affected by Wellington’s rise, dropping from fourth to fifth, while Wellington’s win has also seen the previous occupants of fifth place, Hampton, slip out of the top 10.

Reed’s drop from sixth to outside the Top 10 following their defeat to Seaford. Kirkham jump from tenth to sixth following their 22-0 win at the weekend. Sherborne hold station in seventh for now, but could yet slide once their loss to Abingdon is posted officially. Stockport Grammar move up to eight thanks to Hampton and Reed’s dropping down.

There are two newcomers into the Top 10, Bradford Grammar School move into ninth place following victory over Pocklington on Saturday, while Cranleigh’s superb form sees them move into tenth following their own over RGS Guildford.
