With the start of a new month upon us, it is time to vote for your November School Team of the Month.
It has, once again, been a month of top class rugby, with the conclusion of the Champions Trophy, and with the Daily Mail Trophy nearing its conclusion, meanwhile the NatWest Cup has also been moving towards its most competitive stages.
Naturally the teams who have performed well in those competitions feature in our seven team shortlist, but there are a few others in there too.
The shortlisted teams are as follows:
Bedford – Champions Trophy winners, they also remain unbeaten, and have closed up to second in the Daily Mail Trophy. November also featured an away win at Sedbergh in the Champions Trophy semi final.
Epsom College – Not a vintage month for Epsom but they reached the Champions Trophy final, where they almost came back at Bedford, while in the semi they held of a spirited Blundell’s side.
Kirkham Grammar School – Unbeaten all season, November has seen their best win of the season, 27-0 against Sedbergh. Sitting third in the Daily Mail Trophy and could yet move higher.
Oundle – Another unbeaten month for the side who have not lost a game since mid September. Looking like real challengers in the NatWest Cup too.
QEGS Wakefield – An unbeaten month for QEGS, including wins over Bradford Grammar and Barnard Castle. They have also progressed into the last 32 of the NatWest Cup with a big win over Stockport Grammar.
Stowe – Unbeaten this month, and have made good progress in the NatWest Cup. A good win against Cheltenham College at the end of the month also moved them into the Daily Mail Trophy Top 10.
Tonbridge – An unbeaten month for Tonbridge, with wins over Dulwich College, Harrow, King’s Cantebury, and an impressive 31-0 effort against St Paul’s, who were one of the form sides up until that point.
There is the shortlist, a tough one to select as we are sure you will agree. Now vote for your Fifteen Rugby School Team of the Month winner for November below, the result will be revealed on Friday!
