This week sees the last of the ‘quiet’ midweeks of schools rugby before the NatWest Cup really gears back into action next week.
That said, there is plenty of excitement about even without it, including some important NatWest Vase games.
On Wednesday The Leys travel to Bishop Vesey’s and Yarm host Ripon Grammar, while on Thursday St Ambrose College welcome Ripley St Thomas to town.
Outside of the Vase there is a decent amount of other action on Wednesday, with the big highlight being a clash between NatWest Cup holders Bromsgrove and the AASE side, Worcester 6th form College, two teams who are well known to one another thanks to their players both competing for Worcester in the U18 Academy Premiership.
Elsewhere Millfield host Coleg y Cymoedd and there is a huge game between Whitgift and St Benedict’s, a fixture that always produces the goods in terms of quality.
Reigate Grammar School are also in action, hosting Harris Academy, while Emanuel travel to St James’ and Maidstone Grammar host St Olave’s.
Brentwood welcome Robert Clack and Cheadle Hulme are hosting Bishop Heber.
Wednesday ends with an exciting evening kick off between RGS Lancaster and Audenshaw.
On Friday evening Hereford Cathedral School host Welsh side Bro Morgannwg.
