The 66th Windsor RFC School 7s takes place on Sunday, with eleven top schools from around the country meeting at Windsor RFC.
The teams will compete for the Ken Morley Memorial Trophy, and with big wins under their belts already this season, Bedford and Hampton will be targeting this competition to add to that early trophy haul.
They will both face stiff competition in what is a very strong field. Bedford won the Oakham 7s last week, and the hosts will be in Windsor on Sunday too. Joining them are some real schools rugby powerhouses in Warwick and RGS High Wycombe.
Also competing, not far from their home patch, are Eton College, as well as local sides Windsor Boys School and Claire’s Court. Radley College make the trip down from Oxford, with the Oratory making the short hop from Reading, and St Benedict’s, another with a good 7s side, making the trip along the M4 from Ealing.
The Gordon Wigley Plate will be competed for by those who do not make the Ken Morley Memorial Trophy knockouts.
