Wales U18 beat France U18 ahead of England clash

BECOME A PATRON

Wales U18 secured an excellent 17-8 victory over France U18 on Friday evening.

The result bodes particularly well for Wales, who are next in action at Talbot Athletic Ground on Sunday 13th March against England U18, who lost to France U18 21-12 last weekend, suggesting that Wales’ youngsters are in a very healthy place.

Wales led 10-5 at half time against their French counterparts all thanks to the work of Gowerton Comprehensive fly half Phil Jones, who landed a penalty and converted a try of his own making.

Wales can now watch on with interest as England U18 travel to Scotland U18 on Sunday ahead of their game next week as the preparations for the U18 5 Nations, hosted in Wales, really take shape.
