Daily Mail Trophy Top 10 – Week 3

After an exciting weekend of schools rugby the Daily Mail Trophy table has had a real shake up at the top.

The Top 10 sees plenty of changes after the top two form the opening two weeks, Epsom College and Wellington College, both lost, dropping them out of the Top 10.

That means that Bedford now lead the table with 5.30 points, despite not having played on Saturday. Blundell’s are up into second place from fifth after another stunning victory this weekend, this time it was King’s College Taunton who were the victims as the South West side once again racked up another fifty points.

Like Bedford, St Peter’s Gloucester have jumped up the table despite not playing they move from sixth to third in the table.

Sedbergh are also up a few places from seventh to fourth, they were in great form to stick fifty points on Myerscough College, an AASE College no less, but it was not a Daily Mail Trophy fixture.

Clifton College are back in the Top 10 in fifth place after a nail biting but thrilling 29-28 win over Bishop Wordsworth’s.

Cheltenham College also climb the rankings, from tenth to sixth, with Barnard Castle up from ninth into seventh. Harrow slip slightly from fourth to eighth despite a good win over Dulwich College on Saturday.

Haileybury are back in the Top 10 after dangling agonizingly in eleventh last week, they are up to ninth, while St Peter’s York are also now in the Top 10 after a brilliant 29-0 win over Durham on Saturday.
