Week four of the 2016 Daily Mail Trophy has seen the biggest shake up to the Top 10 in the table yet.
There is an entirely new top 5, with Harrow climbing from eighth up to the top of the table, while Bedford slip out of the top 10 altogether after defeat at home to Oakham on Saturday, Oakham climb up to the cusp of the top 10 in eleventh.
Clifton College rise from fifth to second following their win against Cheltenham College in midweek, while Nottingham High School are the surprise new entries into the Top 10 as they settle into third after their first eligible game, a brilliant 42-15 win over Bradford Grammar.
Brighton College are up into fourth, unbeaten after four games following a 37-17 victory over Dulwich College on Saturday. Blundell’s are down from second to fifth as Truro School are not in the competition, so Blundell’s win there does not aid them.
A lack of an eligible fixture this weekend also sees St Peter’s Gloucester slide back down from third to sixth, and it is the same for Sedbergh, who move down from fourth to seventh despite a good win over Merchiston as the Scots are not in the Trophy.
Wellington College re-enter the Top 10 in eighth place, their victory over Millfield making up for last week’s defeat to Whitgift. They are the only side in the Top 10 with a loss to their name, but the strength of their fixture list sees them climb back up the table.
St Peter’s York climb the table from tenth to ninth following another strong win this weekend, leaving space for Rugby School to break into the Top 10 in tenth position following their 48-0 demolition of Uppingham.
Barnard Castle drop out of the top 10 along with Bedford after defeat to Woodhouse Grove, while Haileybury also slip out despite a brilliant 25-9 win over Oundle. However they are poised just outside of the Top 10 and will be eyeing a return.
