Champions Trophy: Semi Final Draw Revealed

The draw for the Champions Trophy semi finals, scheduled to take place next week, has been made.

It took place following Bedford’s 31-8 victory over Canford on Tuesday, of which you can read our report here: Bedford v Canford.

Bedford joined Tonbridge, who last week beat Eton College (see report here: Tonbridge v Eton), as the second team to be confirmed in the semi finals.

Following those two, the final two semi finalists were confirmed on Wednesday as Epsom College beat Blundell’s 29-7 in a highly impressive and powerful victory that was a repeat of last year’s semi final. You can see our report here: Epsom College v Blundell’s.

The final team confirmed were Oakham, the former Schools Cup winners, who beat a strong Monmouth side 23-8 to seal their place.

The full list will be know tomorrow following the conclusion of Epsom College v Blundell’s, a semi final last year, and Oakham v Monmouth.

Tuesday’s draw saw Oakham and Monmouth out of the hat first, and Oakham’s victory on Wednesday means that they will host Tonbridge in the first semi final.

Epsom College’s victory over Blundell’s means that they are also hosting, and will welcome the champions, Bedford, to South West London, in what is a repeat of last year’s final.

The semi finals are scheduled to take place, but in the meantime, let’s hear who you think will win!
