Scotland U19 face Georgia U20 at Meggetland at 15.00 today, ahead of the two senior sides meeting on Saturday.
A number of players based south of the border have been selected, with Cardiff Metropolitan’s Jack Samuel and Bishop Burton College’s George Thorton both covering the front row on the bench. Northumbria University’s George Bordill covers the second row, with Worcester Warriors’ Tom Dodd covering the back row.
Covering the backline are Newcastle Falcons’ scrum half Ruaridh Dawson, Wasps fly half Connor Eastgate, and Ipswich School’s Will Brown.
Speaking to www.sru.org.uk Scotland’s Head of International Age-Grade, Sean Lineen, said:

This match provides the chance for players – all who are vying for a spot in the Scotland U20 squad this season or next – to show they can be competitive on the international stage.”
