Colston’s 7s: Draw for Sunday’s Colston’s 7s – Kirkham Grammar likely favourites

BECOME A PATRON

The Colston’s 7s takes place on Sunday, one of the smaller competitions of the weekend, but likely just as competitive as all the other.

There will be twelve teams in attendance, with two groups of six. The top side from each group will then face each other in the Cup final, while the two teams finishing in second pace will meet in the Plate final.

Kirkham Grammar School are probably the standout side in the competition, particularly in light of having won last week’s Christ College 7s. They reside in Group A, where Clifton College and Bristol Grammar School will probably be their strongest competition.

There will also be strong challenges from Shiplake College and Prior Park College, with Cabot Learning Foundation also in this tough looking Group A.

The hosts, Colston’s, sit in Group B. They will face some very strong competition in what looks like a very even group. Seaford College are strong side, so too Denstone College, while Exeter School are always strong performers. King’s Bruton have also impressed in spells, so too King’s College Taunton, this group really does look wide open.
