Thursday sees the Society of Heads U18 7s take place in what looks like being glorious settings.

With sunshine predicted, fourteen teams will gather at London Irish’s Hazelwood complex in Sunbury.

The fourteen teams are split into three groups, two groups of five and one of four. The top side in each group plus the best 2^nd placed side will head to the Cup semis, with the remaining second placed sides and the top two 3^rd placed sides heading to the Plate semis. The remaining third placed team and all three fourth placed side will compete in the Bowl semis.

Group A sees Welsh side Llandovery College compete alongside south coast side Hampshire Collegiate, Bethany, LVS Ascot, and the Reading Blue Coat 2^nd VII.

Reading Blue Coast’s 1^st VII reside in Group B alongside Reed’s, one of the favourites, Beechwood, Our Lady’s Abingdon, and Milton Abbey.

Group C looks treacherous, with two sides who likely have designs on the Cup, Seaford College and Shiplake College, they are joined in a smaller group by Shebbear College and St John’s College, Southsea.
