England have named their U18 side for their final game of the U19 International Series in South Africa.

England have made eight changes from the side that lost 14-12 to Wales on Tuesday ahead of tomorrow’s 1pm kick off against South Africa Schools.

The side will be led by returning Sale Sharks and Sedbergh number 8, Sam Moore, who also skippered England U18 to their 24-8 victory over France last week.

With Moore coming back in at 8, Henley College’s Tom Willis moves from the base of the scrum to the blinside flank, while St Peter’s Gloucester flanker Aaron Hinkley remains on the openside.

Malvern College’s James Scott returns to the second row, where he partners Wellington College’s Josh Basham, who started against Wales. In the front row there are wholesale changes as Bristol Grammar School pair Tom Rowland and Will Capon come in for George Head and Beck Cutting at loosehead and hooker, with Joe Heyes of Wyggeston & QEI College coming in for Nick Rigby at tighthead.

Merchant Taylors’ Will Porter is back in the side at scrum half, he links up with Sedbergh’s Cameron Redpath, who moves from inside centre to fly half, with Bedford’s Fraser Dingwall returning to the side in the centres alongside Bishop Wordsworth’s Cadan Murley, who starts his third game of the tour.

The back three sees Ollie Hassell-Collins retained at full back, while Dean Close’s Tom Seabrook moves from the right wing to the left, with Kirkham Grammar School’s Arron Reed starting on the right.

Speaking to www.englandrugby.com England U18 coach Russell Earnshaw said:

“I want to see the team play like they have trained this week, it’s been a good couple of weeks, a great learning experience for the players and coaches and we want to see that transferred onto the pitch. I want to see them enjoy the experience. Last year was a really physical game so this year we’ll try and exceed their physicality.”

“One of the purposes of the tour is for young players to come and play South Africa in South Africa. It’s a great challenge, South Africa are physical, playing at home and will raise their game to play England. I think it will be an awesome environment for the lads to play in and we want them to play with passion and to enjoy themselves.”

“We are a small part of their development, the schools and the academies do a brilliant job and this is another experience that will help extend the players even further on and off the pitch, next year a lot of these lads will be impressing in their clubs and might be fortunate enough to play U20 rugby for England.”
