ISRFC Lambs: U18s and U16s name sides for midweek Lambs fixtures

BECOME A PATRON

The ISRFC Lambs return to action this week with midweek fixtures for both the U18s and the U16s.

The U18s are in action against Northampton Saints at Northampton BBOB RFC on Tuesday evening, while the U16s head to Sixways on Thursday evening to take on Worcester Warriors.

Having both lost out to Boys Club of Wales last time out, in contrasting manners, the Lambs will be desperate to secure success this week in what are likely to be tough weather conditions. As Lambs National Director Alex Laybourne alluded to ahead of the games:

“This week will show us a lot about the character of our squads and their ability to stick to the fast and free philosophy. They need to show learning has taken place and bounce back from a tough weekend against the Boys Club of Wales; which I am confident they will do.”

“The academies always pose a different challenge to our sides and the players will need to be committed to playing an exciting and confident brand of Rugby to overcome the challenge in front of them. As always, it is another great experience for all of those involved and I am sure they will rise to the occasions”

The U18s are once again co-captained by Bedford fly half Alfie Orchard and Felsted number 8 William Barker.
