Ireland U19 name team to face France in Limerick

Ireland have named their U19 side to face France this afternoon on the 4G pitch at University of Limerick.

The young Irish side have already played two fixtures, beating Japan 40-29 in their opening game last week before then losing to the same opposition 40-24 a few days later.

They now face a double header against France, playing on Tuesday afternoon and Saturday afternoon. France meanwhile beat Romania 41-7 last time out and will face Scotland U19 following the double header with Ireland.

Ireland have selected Bristol’s former England U18 wing on the left wing, Iwan Hughes, with St Paul’s Catholic College’s Caolan Englefield at scrum half. St Ambrose College’s Ciaran Booth is in the second row, while the side is skippered by Ballymena number 8 Azur Allison.
