The weather got in the way of a few big games this midweek but there was still some superb rugby on offer on Wednesday.
In a term often weather affected, it was no different this week – and looks set to be again at the weekend – but a few hardy souls still pulled on the boots.
Among them were Millfield, who made it three from three since the Chritmas break with a fantastic 26-10 victory over Welsh college, Coleg y Cymoedd.
Over in Wales Bridgend claimed a narrow victory at a sodden Christ College, Brecon, winning 5-0. Back in England, Penryn College secured a really tight 14-12 victory at Truro School, while it was close between Wilson’s and Wallington County Grammar, too, Wilson’s winning 26-20.
Elsewhere Beth’s Grammar enjoyed a superb 40-5 victory over Oakwood Park Grammar, while Cobham International were in similar form against the American School, winning 45-6. Likewise Welbeck, who put in a terrific display for a 43-10 victory over Princethorpe College.
