Welcome to NextGenXV a new platform for schools rugby coverage and promotion, building on the work of NextGenRugga, CheersMate Productions, and Fifteen Rugby.

NextGenXV has one big aim – to make schools rugby easy to access for all. Bringing together expertise from across the globe we will be covering schools rugby from around the world all here in one place. You will be able to navigate by country, by competition, and we have an ever-increasing page of team profiles – over 200 at the last count and with more being added all the time.

Introducing NextGenXV

So, what can you expect from NextGenXV? Well, fear not, all of the sort of coverage that you have been used to will remain – if you regularly checked in on Fifteen Rugby or on NextGen Rugga, you will still see exactly the sort of content you were hoping for.

However there is more, so much more. Here’s a flavour of what you can expect:

Live Streams – We will have multiple live streams throughout the season and with capacity for more, if you want your game streamed just send us a message! admin@nextgenxv.com

New Competitions – We will be helping to launch a number of new competitions, with full live streaming, highlights, and written coverage.

More Videos – Player highlights, team highlights, matchday highlights, clips, you name it, we’ll have it.

Interviews – Throughout the season there will be a number of big interviews with some key figures in the world of schools and age-grade rugby.

Debate – Whether in print, through podcast, or on video, there will be plenty of debate from how schools rugby might change in a post-Covid 19 world to what the greatest rivalry in schools rugby is.

News, previews, roundups – The stable of written content that you are used to, keeping you up to date with everything in the school game. Building up to every weekend and reflecting on it when it’s all over.

Most of all though, we want to hear from you. What sort of content do you want to read, watch, and listen to? Schools rugby is all about young people having the chance to play the game and enjoy doing so, we want to highlight that. It should be about freedom and a chance to try things out on the field, the same should be true of our coverage of it for you. That is why we will always focus on the excitement, the drama, and the fun. Coverage of school rugby is not about critiquing players or schools, you are not professionals, this is just one small aspect of your life, so positive coverage is the name of the game here.

There will be plenty of coverage to come, including a fun video on rivalries today and a big announcement to come regarding a look back on the 2019/20 UK season.
