The 2022/23 schools rugby has already begun for many with pre-season tours, but pre-season hits the UK shores in earnest on Wednesday with the start of pre-season Festival season and NextGenXV will be at Hartpury College to bring you the action live!

There will be twenty teams competing across two events, a male competition and a female one, and three pitches. NextGenXV will be bringing you all the action from Pitch 1 live, and you can watch it in the video below or by heading to our YouTube channel.

The action starts at 10.30am and runs through to a final set of games at 4pm, with a break at 1.3opm.

On the male side Hartpury College will enter three teams (Red, Black, and White), while Coleg Gwent and Coleg Y Cymoedd travel over from Wales, so too Cardiff and Vale College, who send two teams (red and blue). Hartpury’s fellow ACE side Stourport High are sending two sides, as are ACE colleagues Truro College, with SGS Filton College sending one side.

Representing the English schools scene rather than the ACE scene are Ivybridge Community College, Denstone College, and Sir Thomas Rich’s.

The girls competition meanwhile sees Henley College, SGS Filton College, Coleg Gwent, and two Hartpury College sides competing.
