Wednesday is absolutely stuffed full of action, and there will be yet more live rugby as the NextGenXV cameras head to Rutland to take in Oakham v Stowe in the U18 Schools Cup Midlands A Regional Final. It is set to be a magnificent game, both are looking like they are among the best around and you can check out our preview of that one here: Oakham v Stowe. You will be able to watch the stream on our YouTube channel, on TikTok, and through the embedded link below.

Elsewhere in the Cup the action keeps on coming, North A sees Woodhouse Grove host RGS Newcastle in a real battle of two Northern heavyweights, while highly in form King’s Macclesfield welcome Stockport Grammar in the North B regional final.

London & South East B’s regional final sees Hampton host Harrow, both schools are in our top 10 in the NextGenXV Schools Rugby Table and it could be a genuine schools rugby classic on Wednesday. South West B’s regional final meanwhile sees Sir Thomas Rich’s host Blundell’s, a great game in its own right but particularly interesting for NextGenXV live stream fans as Sir Thomas Rich’s v Cheltenham College will be shown live next week and Cheltenham narrowly beat Blundell’s on Saturday.

The other U18 Schools Cup game is actually a late second round game in London & South East A. Cardinal Newman were thrown out of the tournament for an admin error and then reinstated, so they are only now able to take on the unbeaten and in form The Judd. The winner has a tough task on their hands too, a regional final against the reigning champions, Trinity.

It’s also Regional Final time in the U18 Schools Plate, and there is plenty of that happening on Wednesday. Solihull host Cheadle Hulme in the North B regional final, while in London & South East A it’s a cracker as Hurstpierpoint College welcome Epsom College.

South West B meanwhile sees Monmouth welcome Richard Huish, and in London & South East B Wimbledon College host St Benedict’s.

Over in the Vase there is a bit of a mix of fixtures. In North B it’s a Round 4 game as Durham host Hymers College, and it’s the same round in North A as Ellesmere College head to St Ambrose College.

In Midlands A Hereford Cathedral host Princethorpe College for their Round 4 game and the winner will face the winner of Loughborough Grammar v Dr Challoner’s Grammar, which is also on Wednesday.

In London & South East A both Round 4 games take place, Brentwood heading to Claries Court, and a real heavyweight clash between St John’s Leatherhead and Reigate Grammar. Over in London & South East B it is Sutton Valence v Skinners’, a cracking looking game, and Ravens Wood v Wallington County Grammar.

Over in the Bowl, in North A St Mary’s College head to Ripley St Thomas, while in North B Harrogate Grammar host Scarborough College and King’s Grantham head to Crossley Heath.

In Midlands A KES Five Ways host KES Lichfield, while in Midlands B it’s The Leys welcoming St Columba’s College. London & South East A sees John Hampden Grammar welcome Coopers’ Coborn, while in London & South East B Dartford Grammar welcome Saint Cecilia’s. South West A meanwhile sees former Cup champions St Peter’s Gloucester up against Backwell, while in South West B Shiplake College head to Farnborough 6th form College.

Meanwhile in a Round 3 game in Midlands B, Oundle host St Albans.

Outside of the knockouts, Wednesday still has loads going on, not least Sedbergh looking to bounce back from defeat to Denstone College over the weekend when they host a young Llandovery College side, who will be aiming to bounce back themselves after defeat to Millfield. Always a special occasion, this one should be fun.

So too should Kirkham Grammar School’s continued pursuit of an unbeaten regular season. They are testing themselves against, welcoming Hartpury College to town, though sadly it will once again be a Hartpury U17 side due to ACE commitments.

The North of England has some great games, Stonyhurst head to Runshaw College, while The Grange welcome Bishop Heber High. Wirral Grammar’s 2nd XV host Shrewsbury, while Sedbergh 3rds head to Wilmdlow High. In Derby meanwhile Hill House take on Derby Grammar.

Hayes’ Daily Mail Trophy campaign continues against Tiffin, while their 2nd XV face Royal Alexandra & Albert, and elsewhere Sibford head to Bredon and Oakwood Park are at Chatham & Clarendon.

Samuel Whitbread Academy travel for a big one at Worthing College, while Trinity Sevenoaks host Canterbury Academy and St Clement Danes are at Sandringham.

Lord Wandsworth College take on Ryde, while Simon Langton Grammar up against Gravesend Grammar, and Halliford head to Salesian, with Sir William Borlase’s hosting Chesham Grammar.

Fulham Boys are at home against Saint Cecilia’s, with LVS Ascot hosting Leighton Park and Windsor Boys hosting Ranelagh. Hitchin Boys meanwhile welcome Dame Alice Owens and Ewell Castle welcomeCity of London Freemen’s.

Further West Royal Wolverhampton host Newcastle-Under-Lyme and Queen Mary’s Grammar host KES Camp Hill. Aylesbury Grammar are meanwhile at Cokethorpe, while Cleeve head to Chosen Hill, Wells Cathedral host Sidcot, and Cotswold head to Cheltenham Bournside.

Thursday

Bryanston v Ivybridge Community College (Schools Vase)

Cathedral School, Llandaff v Beechen Cliff

Edinburgh Academy v Stewart’s Melville

King’s Bruton v Sexey’s

Monkton Combe v Portsmouth Grammar (Schools Bowl)

There is one game in the Vase on Thursday, a Round 4 game in South West A as Ivybridge Community College head to Bryanston, who were in form on the live stream in the wet on Saturday against Canford, you can see that game again below.
