The weather has thawed out a little over the course of the week and that allowed a fuller set of completed fixtures than the weekend, where schools rugby was all but completely cancelled.
There was some absolutely fantastic action, including the first live streamed game of the NextGenXV Spring League, which you can relive below.
As well as U18 action there was also U17 action, and some key County Cup fixtures as well on what was a busy day of rugby on Wednesday.

St Benedict’s 8-25 RGS High Wycombe
Before the busier business of Wednesday though, they was an exciting fixture on Tuesday. St Benedict’s hosted RGS High Wycombe and were full of confidence after a victory over St George’s Harpenden on Friday last week, but RGS were on song and enjoying their rugby for an impressive 25-8 victory.

NextGenXV Spring League was in action on Wednesday at Gordon’s and the hosts were in magnificent form against a young Reed’s side for a 38-3 victory. It was a game that showcased what the league is all about though, with different players being given a chance to play and to experience senior rugby in an environment of real positivity.
There was also huge County Cup action on Wednesday, not least in Lancashire where Lancaster RGS reached the final with a fantastic 38-19 victory at St Mary’s College. Meanwhile in Essex Brentwoodprogressed to the semi finals with a 31-0 victory at Westcliff High.
Whitgift were in impressive form as they gear up for a big game at the weekend, beating ann ambitions Hayes side 24-7. Also in the South East, Maidstone Grammar won a high scoring affair against Ravens Wood 45-22, their final games of the season, while Harrodian won 33-14 at Gunnersbury.
In the West of the country KES Birmingham had a strong day, winning 35-17 at home to Bishop Vesey’s Grammar, while Old Swinford Hospital sent a side to Shrewsbury, and came home with a 31-14 victory, meanwhile further North Scarisbrick Hall won a tight one at home to Runshaw College 24-20.
There was also some great U17 action, not least a thrilling 17-17 draw between St Peter’s Gloucester and The Crypt, meanwhile Beechen Cliff were flying in a 40-26 victory over Bishop Wordsworth’s. KES Stratford were also on song, beating Princethorpe College 24-5.
