It is a tricky Pool 1 for the hosts, Gordon’s, alongside heavyweights Wellington College and Tonbridge, and a Portsmouth Grammar School group whose seniors are hosting the annual South Coast 7s at the same time.

Pool 2 looks highly competitive too, with Brighton College travelling north and likely a serious contender. Mill Hill head down from north London, with Hurstpierpoint College coming across from Sussex. Gordon’s fellow Surrey side St George’s College Weybridge make the short journey too for a tournament that they reached the Cup semis in last year.

Pool 3 looks exciting, we have seen plenty of the exploits of the Trinity 1st XV this season, now their U16s get a chance to shine in front of the live cameras. Joining them in a strong pool are Sherborne, who ought to be competitive, Shiplake College, and Framlingham College, who make the trip from Suffolk.

Also from Suffolk are the reigning champions, Ipswich, who reside in Pool 4 and would love to make it back to back titles. First through they must get through a tricky pool containing Eton College, New Hall, and a strong Seaford College side.

It ought to be a superb day of rugby, all kicking off at 10am, please do come and join us for the live stream!
