BECOME A PATRON

Wednesday sees ten schools gather in Hertfordshire for the HABS 7s Festival at Haberdashers’ Elstree.

Last year Hurstpierpoint College claimed the title, beating eventual Rosslyn Park National School 7s Vase champions Stowe in a close final, and both sides return again this year.

The teams are split into two groups of five teams each and the winners of those two groups will then meet in the final.

Hurstpierpoint College’s title defence will be from Group B where they are joined by the hosts, Haberdashers’ Elstree. Alongside those two are Campions, St Paul’s, and a St Albans side that will be keen to make a big impression.

In Group A are Stowe, who performed so well on the 7s field over the weekend. They are joined by London Oratory, a Brentwood side that has been flying in the County Cup, Mill Hill, and Bishop’s Stortford High School, who were also in 7s action over the weekend.

It should be an exciting and fast paced competition, a perfect way for many to start to ease into the 7s season.
