In the seven days since the last update to the NextGenXV Schools Rugby Table the weather swept in and reduced the number of fixtures dramatically.

Nevertheless the games that did manage to go ahead have seen real shake ups in the table, and those that are still to be played are likely to shake it up even further.

Harrow remain top of the pile after their victory over Mill Hill, with Kirkham Grammar and Ipswich remaining set in second and third as well. Harrow and Ipswich meet on Thursday in the Continental Tyres Schools Cup quarter finals, a game that has everything on the line and which will be broadcast LIVE on the NextGenXV YouTube Channel, you can also read about it in depth here: Harrow v Ipswich Preview.

Brighton College leapfrogged Clifton College on what was the final matchday for both, with Brighton rising to fourth and Clifton slipping to fifth. Meanwhile Sedbergh were the beneficiaries of not having a game, rising two places to sixth after defeats for Eton College and Wellington College against Trinity and Tonbridge respectively.

Wellington College are finished for the season, but Sedbergh still have another eligible game when they host Millfield on Wednesday in a huge game that could also have a huge impact on the table. Eton meanwhile face Bishop Wordsworth’s on Saturday.

Bromsgrove stay in tenth place, and with two big games to come, against Radley College and Warwick, they will be eyeing a place not just in the semi finals of the Cup but deeper into the Top 10 here.

Behind them victories for Trinity and the superb Hurstpierpoint College see them rise a place each to 12^th and 13^th behind Stamford, with Oakham slipping back to 14^th, another side unfortunate to have been called off while others around them played.

Cranleigh and Seaford College drew at the weekend, but Seaford’s midweek defeat sees them swap places, with Cranleigh in 15^th and Seaford 16^th. Meanwhile Whitgift, Sir Thomas Rich’s, stay put in 17^th and 18^th. Defeat for Mill Hill sees them slip just a touch from 19^th to 22^nd, with King’s Macclesfield, RGS High Wycombe, and Denstone College all rising a place each as a result.

Behind them Kingswood and Stowe swap places, owed in part to Kingswood managing to get a fixture in over the weekend. St Ambrose College hold steady in 25^th.

Behind them Tonbridge and Blundell’s are the big climbers in the Top 50 after victories over Wellington College and Clifton College, Warwick also see a good rise despite not actually having had a game. Rugby School also rise significantly thanks to their recent form and the Acton Cup victory over Cheltenham College on Saturday.

Elsewhere there are plenty of moves and shakers, but look out particularly for Marlborough College, St Benedict’s, and KES Birmingham, all in position for significant late charges.

With eleven more days of fixtures to come, plenty can change!
