NextGenXV announced as exclusive broadcast partner for the Rosslyn Park National School 7s: 2 Live Pitches, Live Preview & Review Shows

It has today been announced that NextGenXV will become the exclusive broadcast partner of the 2024 Rosslyn Park National School Sevens

NextGenXV will bring LIVE coverage from Pitches RE1 and RE2 throughout every minute of the Rosslyn Park National School Sevens tournament (Monday 18th March to Friday 22nd March 2024), including every final.

In total, there will be eleven different competitions taking place over the week, U18 Boys Cup, U18 Girls Cup, U18 Girls ACE, U18 Boys Vase, U16 Boys, U16 Girls, U14 Girls, U14 Boys, U13 Juniors, U13 Prep, and U11s, for which the draws for all will be announced tomorrow, Friday 8th December.

The broadcast arrangement includes a number of new additions, including a daily preview and review show, and ties together the existing media profile and coverage from the NextGenXV team with the live streaming of the National School Sevens

As in previous years, the stream will be available through RPNS7, England Rugby and NextGenXV’s youtube channels.

Andy Higgins, RPNS7 Tournament Director said “We’re really excited to be expanding our partnership with NextGenXV, the leading broadcaster of schools rugby in the UK.

They have provided an excellent service over the years on the RE2 stream, and we are delighted to be extending that across the tournament.

We will be using their extensive knowledge of schools rugby to create a complete coverage of the event, including in the build-up and with new additions to the stream during the tournament week.

We look forward to enhancing the experience for our participants and to bring the tournament to those watching online.”

Angus Savage of NextGenXV said of the new deal: “We’re absolutely delighted to become the exclusive broadcast partner of the Rosslyn Park National School Sevens. It is the greatest schools rugby event in the world and we are so proud to expand on our previous coverage of the event.

“We will ensure to cover the Rosslyn Park National School Sevens in totality, not just the pitches that appear on the live stream, and are incredibly excited about the plans to keep viewers informed.

“Alongside the Sedbergh Super 10s and the St Joseph’s Festival, in adding the Rosslyn Park National School 7s we are thrilled to be exclusively live streaming the ‘Triple Crown’ of schools rugby competitions in the UK as we continue our the aim of creating a hub for schools rugby, to promote the game, its values, and to make the experience for each and every pupil as memorable and positive as we can.

“Huge thanks must go to the Rosslyn Park National School Sevens staff for the work that they have already put in ahead of the 2024 tournament, and we are delighted to aid them in that process through our coverage of the tournament.”
