With the Touch Rugby World Cup coming up this July, this is a huge season for all involved in the Nationals, with many involved part of the England High Performance squads and, being 40-minute games and a multi-day tournament, it will provide the closest conditions for players and referees to those that they will experience at the World Cup.

As has been the case in recent years, the South East sides dominated the Open categories last year, but the rest of the age-groups were spread around the regions. This year looks set to be another hugely competitive one right across the categories.

Action beigns on Saturday at 10am with 9am starts on Sunday and Monday.
