After another busy weekend, it’s a packed midweek schedule of schools rugby, with games right across the week.
There is plenty of knockout action in both England and Scotland, plus some terrific standalone and block fixtures setting up for what should be a fantastic week of rugby.
Monday 10th November
Monday sees knockout action in the Continental Tyres Schools Bowl, where it’s the Regional semi finals stage, Round 3. Midlands B is where the action is at, as Langley travel to Roundwood Park for a place in the regional final.
Outside of the knockouts, there is action in Wiltshire as Bishop Wordsworth’s and Dauntsey’s go head to head in what is always an exciting game of rugby a definitely worth popping along to watch.

Tuesday 11th November
Tuesday is not as busy as some this term have been, but boy is it pack with quality. Both Regional semi finals in the Continental Tyres U18 Schools Cup Midlands A section take place, and they are two massive games.
Northampton School for Boys, one of the favourites for the Cup are at home in one of their toughest test of the Cup campaign today, hosting two time champions Bromsgrove, who are in strong form at the moment. A massive game. On the other side of the draw the 2012 finalists Old Swinford Hospital hosting the founders of the game, Rugby School, with both sides looking for a quick bounce back after defeats on Saturday.
There is Scottish Schools Cup action too, a massive quarter final at Loretto, with last year’s finalists, Merchiston Castle School, the visitors. Another huge contest. Outside of the knockouts, another big game at Fettes College host Edinburgh Academy, which should be a top game.

Wednesday 12th November
Wednesday is, as ever, a busy day. Busy with knockout rugby too. In the Continental Tyres U18 Schools Cup Ipswich host Campion in a Midlands B Regional Semi Final, a massive game between two sides that have played some glorious rugby this year.
There is also Plate action on Wednesday, with Sutton Valence travelling to Sir Joseph Williamson’s in the London & South East B regional semi final, which should be a good game.
There are key knockouts in the Vase too, in a North B regional semi the impressive Dame Allan’s are up against Ermysted’s Grammar, meanwhile over in Midlands B Hitchin Boys’ host Gresham’s.
Completing the quartet of knockout competitions is the Bowl, and it has action on Wednesday too as the Isle of Man’s King William’s College head to Shrewsbury in North A for a regional semi final.
Elsewhere there are some fantastic game of rugby, not least between the ever impressive King’s Worcester and in form King’s Gloucester. Not too far away, KES Camp Hill host Haberdashers’ Adams, while Hereford 6th form College’s 2nd XV take on Oswestry. KES Aston meanwhile take on KES Five Ways, while Queen Mary’s Grammar take on a Shrewsbury side.
The Grange are at home against Bishop Heber, with Birkenhead welcoming Newcastle-Under-Lyme, and Sandbach looking to bounce back against Lymm High.
King’s Macclesfield, after that brilliance display to beat Denstone College LIVE on Saturday, are at home against Stockport Grammar, while after derby victory Stonyhurst are at home to Liverpool College. Kirkbie Kendal meanwhile travel to Sedbergh to take on their 5th XV.
In Scotland, Glenalmond College host Dundee High School, while back down in England in Yorkshire there is an exciting game as Hrrogate Grammar host Birkdale. Prince Henry’s Grammar are meanwhile in action against Sedbergh’s 3rd XV, while Tranby host Silcoates. Lincolnshire meanwhile sees Worksop College host King’s Grantham. Further South, John Cleveland welcome Bishop Vesey’s Grammar.
Hertfordshire is busy, Hills Road 6th form College head from Cambridge to take on Bishop’s Stortford High, while St Columba’s College host Sir John Lawes, St Edmund’s host Hockerill Anglo-European, and the in form St George’s Harpenden welcome Holyport College.
Buckingmashire sees Chesham Grammar host Sir Henry Floyd and Sir William Borlase’s welcome Lord Williams’, meanwhile Berkshire sees LVS Ascot host Burnham Grammar, Reading welcome Reddam House, and Salesian College travel to Leighton Park. Wilson’s, meanwhile, travel to Salesian.
Out in Oxfordshire, Henley College’s 2nd XV take on Hayes, while there is a cracking game as Cokethorpe host the ever-competitive St Peter’s Gloucester. In Gloucestershire, Chipping Campden host Balcarras, while Bredon host the Kingham Hill 2nd XV. Rendcomb College meanwhile host Sibford.
There are big games in Devon, Plymouth College host Blundell’s in a massive game, while Torquay Boys Grammar host a huge game against Truro School. Exeter School’s 2nd XV are meanwhile on the road at Devonport High.
Over in the South East, to London, Fulham Boys host Orleans Park, while Riddlesdown Collegiate host Wilson’s. City of London Freemen’s have a big game against Saint Cecilia’s, while Wallington County Grammar host Carshalton.
Beth’s Grammar are at home to Marsh Academy, and in Kent Bennett Memorial welcome Oakwood Park Grammar.
Surrey has a couple of big games, George Abbot are at home against Worthing College, while Howard of Effingham make the trip to take on Royal Alexandra & Albert.

Thursday is fairly quiet, though do not be surprised if it gets filled out as the week goes on. The South West sees the bulk of the action, with Bristol Cathedral School hosting Sidcot. Meanwhile Warminster welcome Stonar, and Leweston host the Dauntsey’s 3rd XV.
Over in Kent Chatham & Clarendon Grammar are at home against the brilliant Duke of York’s Royal Military School, who have been unstoppable at times this year.
