PSA

The PSA Rugby Competition is the premier schoolboy rugby tournament in Western Australia, played between the eight member schools of the Public Schools Association (PSA).
These include Aquinas College, Christ Church Grammar School, Guildford Grammar School, Hale School, Scotch College, Trinity College, Wesley College, and Perth College.
The competition is traditionally held during Term 2, with 1st XV fixtures often drawing strong crowds and fierce support from school communities.
Played in a round-robin format, each school faces off once per season, with the championship decided on premiership points.
PSA Rugby stands out for its balance of athleticism, sportsmanship, and tradition, producing Wallabies and Super Rugby talent while maintaining a strong focus on education and character development.
The emphasis is on discipline, respect, and camaraderie, making PSA Rugby a defining feature of student life in Western Australia’s top boys’ schools.
Though geographically isolated from the east coast competitions, the PSA maintains a proud, competitive rugby culture with growing national influence.
