Wellington College maintained their unbeaten 7s run this season, winning the Oakham 7s title on Sunday, their fourth of the campaign.

The victory came after they topped Group B, which also included, Loughborough Grammar School, Leicester Grammar School, Culford, and Stamford, who went on to lift the Plate.

Having gone through that group unbeaten, Wellington then met the hosts Oakham in the semi finals. Oakham had topped Group A, which included Royal Hospital School, Sherborne, and The Oratory, to reach the semi finals.

Wellington made short work of Oakham though, beating them 48-10 to set up a final against Denstone College, who had topped a tough Group C that included Bedford, Uppingham, and The Perse, before going on to beat Culford 24-12 in the semi final.

Once again in a big 7s final though, Wellington College were untroubled, beating Denstone College 38-10 to claim a remarkable 4^th Trophy in only the second weekend of March.

In the Plate, Stamford beat Bedford 14-10 in the final after beating Uppingham 21-12 in the semi final, while Bedford had nipped past Royal Hospital School 22-17.

Once again though the question has to be, can anyone stop Wellington College or is their March towards the HSBC Rosslyn Park National Schools 7s title going to remain untroubled?
