The Samurai British Bulldogs have named their squad for this weekend’s Summer Social 7s at Richmond Athletic Ground.

The Bulldogs have lifted trophies at every event entered so far this season, including the Open at the Greene King IPA 7s, the Junior title at the UR7s, and the Plate at the Sunshine 7s.

The Bulldogs pick players between the ages of 17 and 23 and as a result are packed full of current and recent school stars.

The squad for the Summer Social 7s follows just that pattern, with a host of recent school stars in the side, including 2014 and 2013 NatWest Cup winner with Dulwich College, Felix Maddison, Bedford old boy Ollie Lyons who was part of the Wasps Academy this year, former St Joseph’s College star Austin Beckett, and former Epsom College outside back Charlie Dockery, a mainstay of the Bulldogs squad over the past two seasons.

The squad also includes Marcus Beer, currently at Bath University, who has represented Bath United in the Aviva A League this season.
