Daily Mail Trophy Top 10 – Sedbergh out on their own at the top

The Daily Mail Trophy table is beginning to take shape now as we near ourselves to a month of the season having passed.

Sedbergh are firmly positioned now at the top of the table, they moved there last week and are now out on their own after that staggeringly large victory over RGS Newcastle on Saturday.

We look below at just the top ten in the Trophy, which has over 100 entrants this year. Cranleigh are into the top 10 for the first time this season, firmly placed in second after that victory over Epsom College. They replace Berkhamsted, who slip from second to fourth.

Bedford, who beat Stamford 31-0 at the weekend, move from out of the top ten into third, where they replace Sir Thomas Rich’s, who drop out of the top ten.

Reed’s move from out of the top ten into fifth, while Bradford Grammar School also enter the top ten, in sixth. Oundle slip out after defeat to Harrow, while Reigate Grammar School slide a little form sixth to ninth despite another win.

Ampleforth College slip from fourth to seventh, but are likely to fall further once their defeat to St Peter’s York is confirmed.

Hampton are into the top ten for the first time this year in eighth, they replace Millfield, who drop out of the top ten, while Monmouth in 9th also slip out.

Bromsgrove move from seventh to tenth after their game against Oakham was postponed, with St Ambrose dropping out.
