The ISRFC Lambs have named their side to face Northampton Saints’ U17s On Tuesday 1^st March.

The 19.30 kick off at Northampton BBOB RFC is the Lambs’ 5^th game of the season, and they head into it having won two and lost two, beating Irish Exiles and Crawshay’s Welsh, and losing to RFU Midlands Counties U18 and in awful conditions to Boys Club of Wales last week.

Seven of the team that started against Boys Club of Wales start again on Tuesday. The entire front row, Mike Galsworthy of Felsted, Queen Ethelburga’s Jack Starkey, and Cheltenham College’s Daniel Ali, retain their places.

Ashville College’s Harry Johnson retains his place in the second row, with Felsted’s James Lennon retained at scrum half, along with Pangborne College’s Will Vaughan at inside centre and Mason Knowles of Woodhouse Grove at full back.

Knowles is joined in the backline by his schoolmate Alfred Nordgren, who starts at outside centre. Blundell’s, like Felsted and Woodhouse Grove, also have two starters, Charlie Wilder at openside and Arthur Friend on the left wing.

St Peter’s number 8 Sam Hudson takes over the captaincy, he and Wilder are joined in the back row by Bloxham’s George Cassell, Mount Kelly’s Alec Hampden-Smith is the only other member of the pack not to have played last week.

Royal Hospital School fly half Toby Buckland returns to the starting XV after a week off, while Stamford’s Callum Corbett comes onto the right wing.

On the bench three of last week’s starters lie in wait, Wisbech Grammar’s Oliver Short, Wellingborough’s Eddie Goss, and Felsted’s George Hitchcock. Ben Parker of RGS Newcastle and Henry Wills of Stamford, and Berkhamsted’s Will Hughes all join them, all would be making their third Lambs appearances.

Following this game the Lambs are them in action against another Academy side, Saracens, on Monday 7^th March.
