It was a glorious day for the Welsh and Italian sides at the Conwy U16 International Festival on Sunday.
Wales Academicals beat Scotland Red 29-12, while Wales RGC beat Scotland Blue by an impressive 22-5 scoreline.
For the Italians it capped a stunning weekend. Their U18 side had beaten Ireland 21-17 in the U18 5 Nations Festival, and their U17 sides won both of their games.
Italy U17 beat France West 28-24, while Italy U17 A were 17-15 winners over France East.
The tournament resumes again on Wednesday 6th April with Italy U17 this time facing Welsh Academicals, Scotland Red meeting France East, Wales RGC hosting Italy U17 A, and France West playing Scotland Blue.
The competition then finishes on the 9th April with Scotland Blue facing Wales Academicals, Scotland Red facing Wales RGC, Italy U17 playing France East, and Italy U17 A playing France West.
