School 7s: Middlesex 7s draw announced

The draw for the 2017 Middlesex 7s has been made, with some top sides set to meet on Wednesday 1st March.

Harrow are the reigning Champions, and last year this tournament played a big warm up role in their run to the HSBC Rosslyn Park National School 7s final.

This year they face a tricky draw as they join London Oratory, Merchant Taylors’, and RGS High Wycombe in Group D.

St Benedict’s are the hosts, and they too face some stiff competition in Group A, with Wimbledon College, Wallington County Grammar, and the ever strong John Fisher for company.

Group B includes AASE representation in the form of Beechen Cliff, as well as a strong Hampton side, NatWest Bowl quarter finalists, Gordon’s, and a UCS who enjoyed one of their greatest ever fifteen-a-side seasons.

Group C contains plenty of stardust too. Dulwich College take on Tiffin and Gunnersbury, with another AASE side joining the part, in the form of Henley College.
