Live Stream: Denstone College v Ipswich | Friday, 7.30pm

This Friday night sees Denstone College and Ipswich go head to head in a huge encounter at Leicester Forest RFC.

It promises to be a massive head to head between two sides that look to be incredibly strong this year and that should be very closely matched if early season results are anything to go by and NextGenXV will be there to live stream every second of the action, you will be able to watch it on our YouTube channel, on TikTok, and through the embedded link below.

Denstone College have started the season off brilliantly, winning two from two, including a stunning 61-5 defeat of St Peter’s York on Saturday. It is their opening game of the season that looks the most informative heading into this one though, travelling to Northampton School for Boys and coming away with a close 12-11 victory.

The reason that one is so interesting is because Ipswich have also travelled to Northampton School for Boys and were involved in an incredibly close game too (which you can watch below). They came out on the wrong side of that one, but the confidence from their late rally to leave things at 19-24, and from winning the President’s Cup in pre season and a commanding 69-0 defeat of Uppingham on the opening day, means that Ipswich are going to arrive confident of their abilities and with a bit of a chip on their shoulder to turn last week’s live stream defeat into a live stream victory this week.

The overall picture therefore is of two very good sides, and two very similar sides in style. Powerful and direct when needed, but with electric backlines and forwards that love to run and pass when the opportunities start to open out.

It should be a fantastic game of rugby and a wonderful atmosphere under the lights at Leicester Forest. The touchlines will likely be packed and, in that way that night games so often seem to create, the atmosphere should be absolutely fizzing.

Be sure to join us at 7.30pm on Friday, it’s going to be a titanic clash.
