NextGenXV Global Schools Challenge: Join the Draft | A unique experience for players around the globe

With six months to go until the inaugural NextGenXV Global Schools Challenge, there is still opportunity for young players from around the world to participate, even if their school is not, through entering the unique Draft.

Taking place at one of the most prestigious rugby playing schools on the planet, Grey College in Bloemfontein, South Africa, from the 14th-18th December, the NextGenXV Global Schools Challenge will see schools from around the planet competing in the Championship and Challenger events.

What will also take place is the Invitational Tournament, which will see invitational sides from around the globe take place, as well as Barbarians style draft teams, made up of individual U18 players from schools and clubs around the world.

It is a unique opportunity to be a part of an experience of a lifetime, playing alongside new players, playing a style that will be exciting and entertaining, coached by some fantastic coaches, at one of the great rugby institutions.

Players of any background and nationality are encouraged to join the draft, and upon arrival the drafting process will be live streamed – with players, round by round, selected by the coaches to join one of the Barbarians style sides – all players are guaranteed selection.

All players joining the draft will receive secure lodging at Grey College or the University of Free State (next door to Grey College), with a daily provision of three meals, water, and medical support, plus several goodies including polo shirts, singlets, drawstring bags, and more.

Upon selection, each player will receive their team shirt and shorts, with players encouraged to play in their school socks.

All games will be live streamed across the globe, offering a great opportunity for friends and family to see each player participate in one of the most memorable events they may ever have the opportunity to, as well as to represent their school individually on the global stage.

The goal is for each and every player to have an unforgettable experience, forging new friendships with players from around the world in a display of everything that is good about the game both on and off the pitch.

All players aged 16 to 18 are welcome, from any background, nationality, or playing level, uniting players globally through rugby. To sign up for the draft and to find out more, click here: https://globalschoolschallenge.com/draft-signup/
