U18 Premiership – Preview & Predictions as Gloucester & Leicester go head to head at the top

BECOME A PATRON

The U18 Premiership returns again this weekend after a week off over Christmas and the New Year, beginning with two games tomorrow afternoon.

Saracens welcome Bristol to Allianz Park at 13.30, before London Irish host Bath at Braywick Road at 14.00. Bristol head to Saracens looking for their first win of the campaign, while London Irish are looking to get back to winning ways against Bath after losing to Harlequins last time out.

On Saturday Northampton Saints look to get back to winning ways after their narrow defeat to Leicester Tigers last time out as they travel to Leeds Carnegie, who picked up their first win of the campaign last time out.

That fixture is followed by Exeter Chiefs trip to Braywick Road to play London Wasps. Exeter are currently unbeaten, while a one point defeat to Saracens last time out means that Wasps are still yet to register a victory.

Sunday sees the fixture of the weekend though as the two remaining unbeaten teams in the Northern Conference go head to head. Gloucester welcome Leicester Tigers to Hartpury College, where the winner will take a commanding lead at the top of the table.

That mouth-watering clash is followed by the winless Worcester Warriors’ trip to Heywood Road to take on Sale Sharks.
