The Ireland squad for the forthcoming World Rugby U20 Championships has been announced.

The 28-man squad for the Championships, taking place between June 2^nd and June 20^th in Parma, Italy, his be coached by Nigel Carolan.

Twenty-six of the squad were involved in the U20 6 Nations earlier this year, with Sean McNulty returning to the squad after injury and Charlie Rock coming in and looking for his first cap.

Eight of the squad were involved in last year’s successful Championship in New Zealand, Ross Byrne, Billy Dardis, Ciaran Gaffney, Oisin Heffernan, Nick McCarthy, Rory Moloney, Josh Murphy, and rising star Garry Ringrose all helping Ireland to an impressive fourth place finish.

Ireland will be in Pool C alongside last year’s hosts New Zealand, Argentina, and Scotland, who named their squad last week.
