As is regularly said on many a TV show, there is not a lot of point in showing a league table after just one week of the season.
Nevertheless, below is the table for the top ten of the 2015/16 Daily Mail Trophy after one week of play.
Strikingly, both Wellington College and Sedbergh, the top two from last year, already lie in second and third place after impressive wins over RGS High Wycombe and Whitgift on Saturday.
Top of the pile though are Sir Thomas Rich’s, who staggeringly good victory over Kingswood on Saturday puts them in first place.
