This Saturday sees the fourth and final round of the 2022 WowHydrate Super Sevens Series take place, and it’s all to play for!

Taking place at the Army Rugby’s base at Aldershot Military Base, both the men’s and women’s competitions will be going down to the wire and you’ll be able to catch the action here on NextGenXV. You can either head to our YouTube channel or click on the embedded video below to watch the action live from 10am on Saturday.

In the men’s tournament things are unbelievably tight, with Hong Kong leading the reigning champions Samurai by just a single point. Behind them are the Army and Scimitar Storm, a further seven and eight points behind respectively, with Apache a point further behind and Espana 7s Emerging one further adrift in sixth. However with 20 points awarded to the tournament winner, even China in seventh, 19 points behind Hong Kong, could theoretically claim the title.

Leg 4 Pools

In the Men’s tournament Scimitar Storm claimed the spoils in Leg 3 and are therefore drawn into Pool A, where Hong Kong, The Lambs, and Wooden Spoon are their rivals – their game vs Hong Kong could be crucial for the final shake up. In Pool B are the British Army and the Lions, along with Nigeria Stallions and guest side Samurai Barracudas. Pool C could be massive in the final standings shake up, with Espana 7s, Apache, and China all drawn together alongside Hammerheads, while in Pool D Samurai’s shot at title defence sees them take on Navy Sharks, Stunts, and Karuta 7s.
