This is a great opportunity to kickstart the TOP 20 schools format as used in S.Africa. There are 20 great schools here on this list and another 10-20 who are close. It would be great to see NextGen doing a TOP 20 for each country and it would also be of use for tours and World Schools Rugby Festival, Sanix World Youth etc. It could be more accurate than Daily Mail trophy etc i.e. take into account who plays against who and who beat who etc. Sedbergh playing Millfield away having just played Wellington on the road dropped them into 5th when clearly they were the 1st/2nd best team along with Wellington College (who they beat). I’d love to see an annual Top20 on NextGen – sure that the Kiwis, Aussies etc would also.

I have watched a lot of schools rugby over the past decade (and more) and have little doubt that the two best teams over the full period 2009/10 to 2018/19 were Wellington College and Sedbergh. I do not think I could decide between them.
The best team in a single season was Whitgift in 2009/10 – that team had future full internationals in Elliot Daly, Harry Williams and Marland Yarde, a Scotland A player in Jamie Stevenson to say nothing of George Merrick, Harry Ledger and the most colossal winger in the future Olympian Laurence Okoye.

I have had a lot of trouble voting with very slow reaction speeds on the web site. I see on social media that many other people have had the same issues.
